Find the End of the Road at Clearwater Lake Provincial Park

True to its name, the lake bed in this Manitoba provincial park is clear to see at 11 metres (35 feet).

A grey, rocky shore with clear, blue water washing up on it. The sky above is bright blue with minimal clouds, and off to the right side are larger rocks and the branches of a tree with green leaves.

Head north and make a pit stop at this pristine park located just a half-hour from The Pas. It boasts coniferous forests, crystal-clear waters and a natural phenomenon known as “the caves”—a network of deep crevices formed by large rock masses that have split from the shoreline cliffs. Leave no stone unturned at this spectacular sight, accessible by a self-guiding 800-metre (2,600-foot) trail.
