On trips up to four days in length, benefits up to $5 million will be paid for reasonable charges incurred in the event of a medical emergency, such as an accident, sudden illness or injury.

Included with every annual Emergency Travel Medical Insurance plan is Virtual Emergency Medical Assistance (VEMA). This service helps keep you safe and takes care of your health and well-being at home and when you travel within Manitoba. With VEMA, you can consult with a physician via telephone or a video link, allowing you to avoid long wait times and crowded waiting rooms.
