Your CAA Membership covers so much more than access to Canada’s most reliable roadside assistance provider. Here are five Member benefits you may not know about.
Battery Service.
Many of us have experienced the distress that comes with realizing our car battery has died; turning your key to no response from your vehicle is something every car owner dreads.
Did you know that CAA's all-in-one Battery Service will come to you? Our expert technicians can test your old car battery and if it fails, install a new CAA Premium battery. Delivery and installation are included in the price!
If your service call results in the purchase of a new CAA Premium Battery, it won’t count towards your annual roadside service call allotment.
Is your battery already running low? Stay ahead of your battery’s performance and get a replacement quote today!
Vehicle lockout service.
Accidentally lock your keys inside your car? Don’t worry; it happens to the best of us. Call 1-800-CAA-HELP (1-800-222-4357) or text "RESCUE" to 222247 and we’ll send a technician out to help. You can also visit our website to request roadside assistance.
If it so happens that your keys become lost or broken or the service agent can’t unlock your door, we’ll dispatch a locksmith and reimburse up to $50 for Basic Members, and up to $100 for Plus and Premier Members. In cases where the vehicle cannot be made operable, towing services will be provided.
Our service agents can usually get the job done, but if you think your case is a special or unusual one, you can feel confident knowing we’ve still got you covered.
Emergency gas delivery.
Running out of gas isn’t as uncommon as you might think. If you weren’t able to fill up in time, CAA’s emergency gas delivery service will provide you with enough to make it to the next available service station.
In some situations (like if you’re really out of the way) a tow may be provided to a facility where gas is available.
Basic Members are charged the current pump price. Plus and Premier Members receive their gas at no charge! Not a bad reason to upgrade your membership if you’re still on the fence.
Extrication/winching service.
If you’ve found yourself in a situation where you require extrication or winching, CAA will provide the additional personnel, special equipment and extra vehicles to help get you driving again.
Depending on the circumstances, Basic Members may be responsible for the associated costs, while Plus and Premier Members are always covered for an additional vehicle and operator for up to one hour at the scene.
