You may not know it but CAA works with government, law enforcement officials, local communities and schools to help advocate, educate and drive awareness about how to create and maintain safe roads and communities. In fact, we’ve been doing it for over 115 years!
Safety is our top priority. Safety advocacy is how we got started - our origin story if you will - and we’re exceptionally proud of the work we’ve accomplished.
A brief history of Safe Travels™ from CAA Advocacy.
Whether you walk, bike, drive, take public transit, or hop on a plane, CAA has been there for you every step of the way. Here’s a look back at some of CAA Advocacy’s biggest milestones.

Taking action and moving forward.
As the way we travel changes, CAA will continue to be the voice of our Members on issues of road safety, transportation and consumer protection.
And we’ll keep the very important conversations going on issues like the future of infrastructure for population growth, emerging technologies, smart cities, electric and autonomous vehicles and improvements to public transit.
CAA Safe Travels™.
While the way we travel changes, our need for safe travels doesn't.
